We would like to say a huge thank you to the Bank for their generous donation. We also want to thank the local community who have supported us through the Community Partnership Program.
We thank Regional Australia Bank for continuing the ‘Community Partnership Program’. It has assisted so many local community groups including TransCare by providing much needed funds through its program.
About the Community Partnership Program
The Community Partnership Program is a great initiative by Regional Australia Bank. The program allows account holders to support their local community groups. Customers simply open a transaction account and select the local group they would like to support. The Bank then calculates the average annual balance of all supporter’s accounts and donates 1% of the total to the cause on the customers’ behalf, all without costing them a cent.
The Community Partnership Program has advanced significantly since its establishment. The last 5 years has seen the Bank contribute over $1.5 million dollars to deserving community groups and is continuing to grow.
“We are passionate about giving back to our communities and we are equally committed to empower our customers to support local community groups they feel strongly about. That’s why we established the Community Partnership Program eight years ago.” said Kevin Dupé, CEO of Regional Australia Bank.
