Our staff offer in-home personal care services so you can feel refreshed and confident every day.
Daily personal hygiene and grooming tasks can become difficult as people age or are recovering from an injury, living with a disability or managing an illness.
A little assistance from our qualified, reliable and caring staff can make a positive difference to your daily well-being. We have experienced personal staff that are well-trained, trustworthy and sensitive to your individual needs.
It is your decision how little or how much support you would like. We can complement your efforts to help make life easier for you, listening and understanding to what care you require, even as it changes over time.
Personal care can play a vital role assisting you to maintain a satisfying lifestyle with the dignity, respect and independence you need.
To ensure clients are receiving the highest quality of care, all TransCare personal care staff hold a minimum Certificate III in Home and Community Care or Aged Care, First Aid certificate and are subject to a police check.

TransCare understands that preparing a meal can sometimes prove difficult and therefore provides a service in order to make this process easier. TransCare can help clients to:
- peel and cut up vegetables
- get out cooking equipment and utensils
- prepare salads
Please note that actually cooking the meal is not part of this service.

Respite care is a form of support for carers, giving them a break from their regular caring role in order to have some time for themselves and carry out daily activities. The in-home respite care service from TransCare is available to residents in the Upper Hunter and Muswellbrook Shires and can be tailored to ensure that all needs of the carer and family are being met. Respite may include assistance with personal care, help with domestic activities or providing companionship.
All TransCare respite care staff hold a minimum Certificate III in Home and Community Care or Aged Care, First Aid certificate and are subject to a police check.
