TransCare clients can get out and about on a monthly basis and enjoy a hearty meal at a variety of local restaurants. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, starting from 11am, clients are picked up from their home and taken to the venue. TransCare believes this is a great way to ensure clients are getting important social interaction and also a nutritious meal.
The social interaction provided by this program is instrumental in helping older people of our community to develop relationships and maintain communication with peers.

Other social events at TransCare
TransCare believes getting out of the house and enjoying time with others is a vital part of staying happy and healthy at any age.
TransCare runs regular social trips, usually monthly, which provide the perfect opportunity for our guests to attend events and visit attractions throughout NSW. Previous trips have visited historic towns like Gulgong or attended events like Tocal Field Day.
The popularity of these trips is overwhelming and they are therefore regularly booked out, so get in early to secure your place!
TransClub is TransCare’s aged care activities program that provides clients with regular social activities for entertainment and social interaction.
TransClub runs every fourth Wednesday of the month from 10am until 2pm and includes morning tea and a light lunch.
If you’d like to attend any upcoming TransClub event give the TransCare office a call on 6545 3113.
