When people are already making plans for next year, you know an event has been a hit.

And, that is exactly what happened at the Muswellbrook Seniors Expo on Monday November 13 according to TransCare promotions officer Jemma Anshaw.

“As we were walking around talking to the different groups who took part everyone was commenting about how much they were getting out of the day,” she said.

“We had 25 stalls set up with a range of information- everything from service providers and insurance information, to community and support groups.

“The support from the vendors is what makes or breaks an event like this, so we are grateful for the quality of all our displays.”

The community also got behind the event, which is the first of its kind run by TransCare in Muswellbrook, with around 80 people visiting the Muswellbrook RSL Auditorium.

“With this kind of support we will be looking at making it an annual event for sure,” Ms Anshaw said.

“It was a great morning and we are looking forward to building in it in the future.”
