As October approaches TransCare are preparing for the Annual Barefoot Bowls Night.
The not-for-profit community organisation will be keeping the tradition of a fun night at Scone Bowling Club alive on Thursday October 24.
“We know the community love this event and we have a great time hosting it,” Jemma Anshaw, TransCare promotions officer said.
“There will be a few changes to the 2019 event, the main one being that we are partnering with long-time supporters the Lions Club of Scone. Proceeds from the event will be split with Local Farmers Drought Relief Fund that is dedicated to giving support to the families in our area who are struggling as the dry weather continues.”
“Businesses will also be able to contribute towards the fundraising total by being event sponsors, or by donating to the raffle and auction.”
“The fun of a game of bowls will always be the focus, I hope we can match up a few of our rival teams from last year and get them out for a rematch as well as adding a few new teams in to the fold,” Ms Anshaw said.
Businesses who are interested in sponsoring the Annual Barefoot Bowls Night are encouraged to get in touch with Jemma Anshaw at TransCare on 6545 3113 or via jemma@transcare.org.au.
