Time to hit the greens for the TransCare Annual Barefoot Bowls Night Fundraiser

Posted in ,

Sights are set on the greens being full and the auction and raffle being hot competition at the TransCare Annual Barefoot Bowls Night Fundraiser.

Save the date Thursday October 18 to join in with the action at the Scone Bowling Club.

“TransCare would like to invite the community to join us for a fun night on, and off, the greens,” TransCare Promotions Officer Jemma Anshaw said.

"You don’t need to be a seasoned bowler to participate, or you might just want to come along to the raffle and auction.

“Every year we are blown away by the support from the community and local businesses who get behind TransCare by making donations, we know times are hard and appreciate everything we receive.

“We have some really great items on their way for the auction, including a voucher and gaming console from Wideland Motor Group, as well as a voucher from Anytime Fitness Scone.”

Proceeds from the event will go towards providing services and programs in the Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shire. At present TransCare is focused on improving senior’s confidence with technology and the internet through the Be Connected program which will be launched in October.

If you would like to register a team or make a donation for the TransCare Annual Barefoot Bowls Night Fundraiser email jemma@transcare.org.au or call 0409 780 650, or call into the office at 214 Kelly Street Scone.
