Wellness and Reablement – Exercise for Falls Prevention

TransCare's Wellness and Reablement Program held its 'Exercise for Falls Prevention' workshop at the Aberdeen Bowling Club today. Presenter, Gemma Smith, demonstrated how to prevent falls from occurring, and what to do if you have a fall. Strategies include planning in the home and yard to reduce risk factors associated with falling, how to get help if a fall occurs and how to keep homes safe to reduce risks of falling.
