We will be commencing our new Wellness Program from Monday 23 September 2024 for all clients with a Social Support Group referral from My Aged Care. The program will offer education sessions, pool and card games, social outings, movies, and bingo on a time limited basis.  The objective of this program is to assist Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) clients to participate in community life and feel socially included through structured, group-based activities that develop, maintain or support independent living and social interaction whilst facilitating their wellness and reablement goals.

Our intention is to provide our Social Support Group clients with a program that offers variety over 3 to 4 days per the week. You will find a copy of the new Wellness Program enclosed.

Christa Lucano is the CHSP Program Officer running the Wellness Program. You may know Christa as she has been one of our trusted Care Workers for nearly 2 years. She will be working part-time from Monday to Wednesday each week from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
